After an incredible 2026 festival, Footscray West Writers Fest will return in April 2027 with a weekend of readings, talks, performance and workshops taking up residence in West Footscray’s bars, library, restaurants, drill hall and footy oval.

Footscray West Writers Fest is organised by West Footscray Arts with funding from Maribyrnong City Council. West Footscray Arts is a non-profit organisation dedicated to elevating and supporting art and artists in our local community.
