The newest story fest in the west is back for round two! 2025’s inaugural Footscray West Writers Fest included a sellout weekend of readings, talks and workshops in West Footscray’s bars, library, pizza restaurant and a footy oval. It was a deep, sweet, fun and illuminating ode to living, writing and working in the West.
We are delighted to be back to do it all again in March 2026.
Footscray West Writers Fest is organised by West Footscray Arts with support from Maribyrnong City Council. West Footscray Arts is a non-profit organisation dedicated to elevating and supporting art and artists in our local community.
